Dr Srikanth Kanchana Pala leads the Limb Reconstruction and Sports injury department at DHEE Hospitals, Bangalore. Other than his expertise in managing complex and critical trauma surgeries, he is also specialized in treating sports injuries and conducting advanced arthroscopy for Knees and Shoulders.
Dr Srikanth is one among the few specialists with expertise in treating sports and age-related shoulder issues using keyhole (arthroscopic) methods. He was awarded the ISKSAA fellowship at Adelaide, Australia where he strengthened his subspecialty training in arthroscopy. He is a regular faculty at AO trauma courses and has received the prestigious inland fellowship from Indian Orthopedic association. He received *AO Pelviace tabular trauma fellowship from Singapore as well.
Being an alumnus of Bangalore Medical College and KIMS Hubli, Dr Srikanth completed his advanced trauma care Fellowship from the National Board - FNB-Trauma at Ganga Hospital, Coimbatore. He has presented over 20 scientific papers, published seven original articles and has been a faculty at several National and International conferences & meetings.
Dr Srikanth is religiously committed to patient care and practices ethical and Evidence-Based Medicine. He is well known for his speed, perfection and accuracy even in complex orthopaedic trauma surgeries. Orthopaedic Residents Refer to him as the Picasso of Fracture Fixation art!
He is an enthusiastic teacher to several budding orthopaedic surgeons and is actively involved in training DNB candidates at our hospital.
